Director of Development
Angel Brunelle is the Director of Development at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Miami University. Angel has over 24 years of non-profit leadership experience and 28 years of youth development experience. In her role at the Club, Angel is responsible for leading the Development Department, overseeing organization’s communication and marketing strategies, identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors, and arranging and attending speaking opportunities to further the mission of the Club and increase the awareness of the Club to a broader audience. Prior to working at the Club, Angel has held numerous roles in the nonprofit sector, including as a Director of Communications, Director of Sales and Marketing, Senior Trainer Consultant, Youth and College Program Coordinator at Project Adventure, and Director of Outdoor Programs and Chimney Corners Camp Program Director for the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA.
When Angel is not at the Club, you can find her practicing with her band, volunteering at a number of different places, and providing team building experiences for children and adults. Angel enjoys working at the Club because she loves playing a role (no matter how small) in helping young people grow into happy, confident adults. She came to work at the Club because she wanted to work in an organization within her home community, and the mission really resonated with her. She stays because the Club’s young people are amazing, and it is a joy to watch them grow and flourish as individuals.
