As the Special Events Manager, Misha is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Club fundraising & cultivation events in support of our mission to end generational poverty in Lowell and grow support for our organization. Misha comes to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell with over 7 years of experience in the Boys & Girls Club movement. Her most recent experience was as a Safety Analyst of the Northeast Region for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Prior to that position, she served as the Director of Operations/Chief Operating Officer for the Permian Basin region clubs in Texas. In these roles, Misha wore many hats to support the organizations and create positive change for the youth in those communities.
Misha holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University with a concentration in Business, Financial Planning, & nonprofit sector administration. She holds a certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership.
In her free time, Misha likes to travel the world. She has visited 7 countries, 12 State Parks, and 20 National Parks, hiking beautiful trails whenever she gets a chance. She also enjoys landscape and nature photography, reading, and cooking as well.
Misha enjoys working at the Club because it gives her an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our youth on a daily basis. The Club is a unique and special place to work because we get to see the positive impact we have on our community and kids each and every day. Their smiling faces, and getting to work with a hardworking team with the same vision and mission is what drives her to succeed.
