Host a FUNdraiser

Hosting a FUNdraiser is great way to have a big impact on youth in Lowell, and have a great time with your friends and family.  There are lots of options and creative ways to host your FUNdraiser, and we are happy to provide assistance as needed. We do ask that if you are planning an event and requesting donations on behalf of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, that you let us know so that we can send you the correct logo to use, and provide additional marketing support as needed.

For more information, contact Yesenia at ymaysonet@lbgc.org or 978-458-4526 x 13.

FUNdraiser ideas:

Host a paint night. Painting Under the Influence specializes in fundraising events.

Host a wine tasting – One Hope Wine donates 10% of each purchase to the charity of your choice.

Have Dress Down Day at work – anyone who donates gets to wear casual clothes to work on the selected day.

Penny Wars – Invite different departments/groups to bring in their spare change to see who can bring in the most pennies – but you can sabotoge other teams by bringing in larger coins…

Dine to Donate – Many local restaurants will donate a portion of the diner’s bill to charity – all you have to do is set a date and create a flier. Just check with your favorite local establishment to see if they are interested, or contact the Club for additional ideas.

Donate your birthday (or any special occasion) on Facebook – Hosting a Facebook fundraiser is one of the easiest ways to raise funds, with no cost at all to you! All funds raised on Facebook for the Boys & Girls Club go directly to the Club – Facebook does not charge any service fees. Click here for instructions on how to create a Facebook fundraiser.

Host a theme party – game night, dinner party, movie night, trivia night – they are all fun! Invite your friends over, and ask for a donation at the door.

Poker night – Host a poker game, with the winnings being split between the Club and the game winner.
