Deidre Beaupre has spent the majority of her career illuminating the vital work of nonprofits, and she has developed grant proposals for Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell for more than 20 years.

Deidre crafts proposals to private, government and capital funders for fiscal support of opportunities and mentoring at our Boys & Girls Club that empower young people to envision their individual futures, set goals, and make concrete plans to achieve success.
As our nonprofit has grown to engage increasing numbers of youth, as of 2024, Deidre has quadrupled annual programmatic grant revenue, and she was responsible for multiple successful capital proposals for “Believe & Become.”

Deidre values her role as we work to fulfill our mission and advance our vision. She considers it an honor to be entrusted with sharing the dedication and talents of our Boys & Girls Club staff and the contributions that Club members and alumni make in their communities. Deidre draws inspiration from both.

Deidre earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Southern Methodist University. She has been recognized by Boys & Girls Clubs of America with a National Service to Youth Award.

When she is not at a keyboard, Deidre enjoys time spent outdoors with her husband, Michael. These moments have included repeated trips to Acadia National Park and the gift of a spectacular viewing of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse from Houlton, Maine.
