Corporate & Volunteer Coordinator
Marlena Garcia is the Corporate and Volunteer Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, developing partnerships and engaging volunteers to expand opportunities for youth. Born and raised in Lowell, she began her journey in youth programming at the Lowell Parks and Recreation at age 13 and has since dedicated herself to strengthening gaps in self-confidence, mentorship, and creative outlets for Gen Z’s.
Marlena represents multiple media platforms, including Performer Media LLC, El Mundo Boston, Wicked Bites, Inboston Magazine, and Original Living Magazine, and brings 6 years and counting of experience as a production assistant, including event directing, creative direction, and live event production. Through her net worth, she brings culture and values into edutainment and self-development, using talent recruitment and production development to create hands-on experiences. With a background in journalism and entrepreneurship, she challenges limiting beliefs, breaks barriers, and creates lasting avenues for young professional development.
Driven by a mission to become the person she once needed, Marlena is deeply committed to helping communities thrive and ensuring young people have access to the resources they need.
Currently pursuing her degree in Business Administration and life and health insurance licensing, she continues to encourage adolescent, Gen Z, and mature individuals to aim for abundance and create a better quality of life.
