Mentoring

A key component in ensuring that young people achieve their goals is adult role models encourage them to reach their full potentials.  The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell’s Youth Development Professionals encourage members to expand their areas of interest, provide resources to help members achieve their goals, and offer a consistent positive voice that believes our Club members can accomplish anything they set out to do.

In addition, the Club offers a formal mentoring program, where Club members are paired with a staff mentor who they meet with to discuss their goals, challenges and successes.

Youth Services Manager:

The Youth Services Manager is a licensed social worker who is responsible for general, day-to-day counseling services and
support services at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell. They work with Club members between the ages of 8 and 18, and facilitate discussion groups, offer one-on-one counseling services, and coordinates the staff mentoring program.
