Christopher is the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell’s Academic Success Manager, who’s job it is to  ensure all members have the support they need to excel in their journeys as students. Chris started with the Boys & Girls Club as the Tech Lab lead, which allowed him to meet our members, work alongside our staff, and fully grasp the values and priorities of the organization.
Prior to working at the Club, Chris was the Community Access Manager for a local television station. While there, he was responsible for the education and engagement of community producers and helped manage the media production work study program for local high school students. Before that, Chris was a videographer / facilitator for a nonprofit that taught leadership skills to at-risk kids through storytelling and art projects. Chris’ background is mostly in documentary film production, and he believe strongly in the power of stories to teach, inspire, and ultimately affect change. Chris is an independent film and podcast producer whose work has been featured on PBS, the Discovery Channel, and film festivals nationwide.
When not working at the Club,  Chris loves to write, try out ambitious new recipes, travel, take walks with his cat and spend time with his two kids.
Chris enjoys working at the Club because be believes that the Boys & Girls Club is a force for good that has a proven legacy of helping youth in vulnerable situations. As a staunch supporter of children’s rights, Chris is gratified daily to be part of that legacy. Chris sees that the kids we serve are bright, unique, and deserving of our best -and  it is his ambition to give them his best while performing the duties of his role.
