A little bit about Yesenia:

Yesenia Joseph is the Director of Development at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Clark University. In her role, Yesenia oversees the daily operations of the Development team and annual giving/special events, builds lasting relationships to support the Club’s mission of ending generational poverty, and leads the Club’s strategic plan efforts to raise vital funds to invest in the lives of young people by collaborating with community leaders, staff and members. Yesenia has worked at various non-profit organizations for over 20 years, with her journey with Boys & Girls Clubs beginning back in 2007. Additionally, she has won several awards for her work in the field, including the 2021 Distinguished Young Professional Award from the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce and the BGCA-Fundraising Professional of the Year.

When Yesenia is not at the Club, she enjoys doing yoga, playing softball, reading, traveling, volunteering, and being a part of various different boards in the area. Yesenia works at the Club because she is passionate about the Club’s mission and loves the team. The Club is supportive of her future career aspirations and is constantly evolving to meet the needs of the community. Additionally, she feels that the Club team has set high expectations for their work culture and strives to create opportunities for work life balance.
